Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Fora platform, operated by Shaigexp LLC ("Fora," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using Fora in any way, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who Can Use Fora

You must be at least 18 years old to create a community on Fora as an owner. Members of communities may be younger, but community owners are responsible for ensuring their communities comply with applicable laws regarding minors.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at contact@fora.so if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not responsible for any loss resulting from unauthorized account access.

3. Community Owners

If you create a community on Fora, you are the "Community Owner." As a Community Owner, you:

  • Are responsible for all content within your community

  • Are responsible for your members and their compliance with these Terms

  • Grant Fora a license to host and display your content for the purpose of operating the platform

  • Retain full ownership of your content

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Fora to:

  • Post or distribute illegal content

  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users

  • Impersonate any person or entity

  • Distribute spam or unsolicited messages

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you create on Fora. By posting content, you grant Shaigexp LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and store your content as necessary to operate the platform. We do not claim ownership over your content.

6. Beta Service

Fora is currently in beta. This means:

  • The platform is provided "as is" during the beta period

  • Features may change, be added, or be removed

  • We do not guarantee uptime or service availability during beta

  • We will provide reasonable notice of material changes

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using Fora at any time. To request deletion of your account or community data, contact us at contact@fora.so.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHAIGEXP LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
