Terms of Service

1.About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Shaigexp LLC (“Fora”, “we”, “us”), the company that runs fora.so. By creating an account, creating a page, or buying something on Fora, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Fora.

Fora lets creators sell courses, calls, downloads, services and memberships from their own page, and lets anyone buy, book and join. “Creators” are people who run a page; “buyers” are people who buy, book or join.

2.Your account

• You must be at least 18 to create a page and sell, and at least 13 to have an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
• Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• Give us accurate information, and keep your email address current so we can reach you.
• One person or business per page. You may not take a link (handle) to mislead people or to hold it for resale.

3.Selling on Fora

If you run a page, you are the seller of everything you list. That means:

• You describe your products honestly and deliver what you promise: course content, files, calls at the time booked, and services as described.
• You set your prices and your refund policy, and you handle refund requests from your buyers. Refunds are made from your own Stripe account.
• You are responsible for the taxes on your sales, and for following the laws that apply to what you sell and where you sell it.
• You own what you create and upload. You give Fora permission to host, show, copy and deliver it, only to run and promote Fora and your page. You can remove it at any time.
• You only upload content you have the rights to, including pictures, music and other people's work.

4.Payments and Fora's share

Payments are handled by Stripe. To sell, you connect your own Stripe account, and you agree to Stripe's terms, including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Buyers pay into your Stripe account, and Stripe pays you out to your bank. Fora never holds your money and never sees full card numbers.

• On the Free plan, Fora keeps 8% of each sale. On Pro, Fora keeps nothing. Stripe also charges its own processing fee.
• Fora's share is taken by Stripe at the time of the sale.
• If a payment is disputed or reversed, you are responsible for it with Stripe.

5.Fora Pro

• Pro costs $24 a month, or $228 a year. Current prices are on the pricing page.
• New creators can try Pro free for 14 days. A card is needed to start the trial but nothing is charged until it ends. We email a reminder the day before. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.
• Pro renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Settings → Billing; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
• Payments for Pro are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
• If we change the price of Pro, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

6.Buying, booking and joining

• When you buy from a creator, you are buying from them, not from Fora. Their page and product page describe what you get.
• Questions about a product, a refund or a call go to the creator first. If you can't reach them, write to us and we'll try to help.
• A membership is billed every month to your card until you leave. You can leave any time in Settings → Memberships, and keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
• What you buy is for your own use. Don't share your access or resell the content.

7.The AI assistant

Creators may offer an AI assistant (“Ask”) that answers questions about them and their products. It is always labelled as AI and is not the creator. It can make mistakes, so don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. The creator decides what it knows and is responsible for it.

8.What's not allowed

Don't use Fora to:

• Sell anything illegal, or anything Stripe does not allow to be sold.
• Sell sexual content, weapons, drugs, gambling, or get-rich-quick and other misleading schemes.
• Mislead, harass or threaten anyone, or pretend to be someone else.
• Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or privacy.
• Send spam, spread malware, or try to break, overload or get around the security of Fora.
• Copy or scrape Fora or other creators' pages.

We may remove content or pages that break these rules, and may suspend or close accounts that do.

9.Closing your account

You can stop using Fora at any time and ask us to delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts buyers, creators or Fora at risk. If we close a creator's page, we will try to tell them first and give them time to move their content, unless the law or safety prevents it.

10.Warranties and liability

Fora is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running and secure, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We are not responsible for what creators sell or say, or for what buyers do.

To the extent the law allows, Fora is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid Fora in the 12 months before the claim (Pro payments and Fora's share of your sales) or $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to cover Fora for claims that come from what you sell or upload, or from your breaking these terms.

11.Changes and the law

We may update these terms as Fora changes. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or on Fora before it takes effect. Using Fora after that means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
