Editing Presets Guide
Step-by-step settings for 8 popular looks
How to Use This Guide
Each "look" below lists starting values for common editing sliders. These work in most phone editors and free editing apps, though slider names, ranges, and strength vary between apps. Treat every number as a starting point and adjust to your photo.
The scale: values are written for sliders that run from −100 to +100 with 0 as neutral. If your app uses a different range (e.g. −50 to +50), scale accordingly, roughly halving the numbers.
Before you apply any look:
Crop and straighten first.
Get the exposure roughly right.
Apply the look.
Fine-tune to suit the photo, then save it as a preset (if your app allows) so you can reuse it.
Golden rule: if skin looks unnatural or the photo looks "edited," pull everything back by about a third.
